Toasted Pecans or Almonds

1 lb. pecan halves
2 sticks butter
4 tsp. Worchesershire sauce
1 tbs. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. Tobasco sauce
Melt 1/2 cup of butter in a saucepan
Add 4 teaspoons of Worchestershire sauce
1 tablespoon of garlic salt
1&Mac218;2 teaspoon of Tobasco sauce
Stir the liquid mixture and pour into a large bowl
Add 4 cups of pecan halves to the mixture and stir to completely coat the pecans
Spread the pecans evenly on large cookie sheets
Bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 300 degrees
Pour them onto some paper towels to absorb any excess butter
Once they have cooled you can keep them fresh by storing them in an airtight container.
